Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) is used for elevator traction machine model and its primary function is to move the elevator and deliver the lift cabin to the nearest floor and open its door in the event of power failure to prevent passengers from being trapped inside the cabin. This ARD is designed ith microprocessor technology and is capable of generating power for elevator motor and controller.
